In April 2023, The Landmark at 57th Street and Fifth Avenue reopens with a significant investment in leading environmental, health and well-being initiatives.
A pinnacle of sustainable construction and design, The Landmark was built to operate sustainably for years to come.
Once open, The Landmark store will be on track to achieve WELL Platinum certification. A prestigious distinction, WELL certification is achieved through an evidence-based system focused on the ways buildings can enhance people’s health and well-being. In support of these efforts, initiatives including mental health counseling for employees, advanced air filtration systems, and local and nutritious food options for employees will be implemented.
The Landmark is also on target to achieve LEED Gold certification. LEED, or Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, is the universal rating system for green buildings. Tiffany & Co. has invested in extensive carbon reduction measures, such as rainwater harvesting, 100% LED lighting and procurement of 100% renewable electricity at this location. To date, Tiffany & Co. has over 35 retail stores, offices and manufacturing locations with LEED Silver, Gold or Platinum certification, located in the United States, China and elsewhere.
