Inspired by Tiffany & Co.’s love for a better tomorrow, employees across the globe celebrated World Oceans Month with beach cleanups in New York City, Miami, Los Angeles and Australia.
In New York, Tiffany & Co. employees created 50 beach cleanup kits for the Wildlife Conservation Society (WCS) which doubled beach cleanup participation at WCS’s first Coney Island beach cleanup. In Miami, 67 pounds of litter and ocean debris was removed from Historic Virginia Key Beach Park. In Australia, the Tiffany & Co. team, together with Take 3 for the Sea, participated in a beach cleanup event at Styne Park in Double Bay where a total of 30 pounds of garbage was collected. This debris included but was not limited to 77 pieces of small, broken-up pieces of plastic, 98 food packaging items and over 184 pieces of foam insulation.
Through Tiffany Cares, the House matched employee donations in addition to personal volunteer hours. We also hosted a giving campaign to match donations to charitable leading conservation organizations like the Wildlife Conservation Society, Clean Miami Beach, Surfrider, The Nature Conservancy and Conservation International. In 2023, we collectively donated over USD $300,000 to over 525 non-profits globally and hope to do more in 2024 and beyond.
