Jean Schlumberger’s Bird on a Rock is one of the 21st century’s most iconic jewellery designs. The setting was originally designed in 1965, after Schlumberger encountered a yellow cockatoo that inspired his brilliant imagination. The brooch has since been recreated for the world’s most incredible colored gemstones, most notably to showcase the esteemed Tiffany Diamond. Epitomising the unrivaled craftsmanship for which Tiffany is known, every gemstone for each Bird on a Rock is hand selected and hand set by our artisans. This 18k yellow gold and platinum brooch features a bird set with diamonds and a pink sapphire on an emerald-cut tanzanite "rock."
