Running Trophies Designed by Tiffany

Each year, the best runners and millions of spectators around the globe gather for the world’s most competitive marathons, from New York to Japan and beyond. Tiffany & Co. is proud to handcraft awards for incredible Elite Platinum Label race events like the TCS New York City Marathon, the Nagoya Women’s Marathon and the Shanghai Marathon.

The TCS New York City Marathon

Since 1984, Tiffany & Co. has handcrafted the Samuel Rudin Trophy, awarded to the winners of the race’s women’s, men’s and wheelchair divisions. Taking approximately three months to complete, the 30.48 cm (12 inches) sterling silver trays feature an enameled etching of the marathon route as well as an inscription of the winner’s name. In addition, Tiffany proudly crafts the accompanying gold medallion along with the silver and bronze medallions awarded to the second and third-place participants.

The ATHLOS Champion Crown

Awarded annually to the winners of the six track and field races of the ATHLOS Invitational Event in New York City, the ATHLOS Champion Crown is a work of exceptional craftsmanship. Tiffany first designed the trophy for the event in 2024, and its artisans created it over a span of 10 weeks totaling 25 hours of labour. The sterling silver crown is approximately 10.79 cm high, 17.78 cm in diameter and weighs 680 g.

The Shanghai Marathon

Tiffany & Co. is proud to handcraft the awards for the most sought-after road race in China: the Shanghai Marathon. The first, second and third-place trophies are handcrafted in 18k gold, sterling silver and bronze over the course of nearly four months at the Tiffany hollowware workshop. The sterling silver and 24k vermeil trophy is approximately 45.72 cm high, 12.7 cm wide, 12.7 cm long and weighs 1.36 kg. The House also handcrafts the gold, silver and bronze medallions awarded to the race’s top three male and female runners.
